The Facts about a Lie Detector Test Examination
The polygraph examination starts with a pre-test interview to elicit information which will later be utilized to develop “acquisition, control and relevant questions.” This interview is when the examiner will have to be considerably fragile to the examinee’s history, culture and education to figure out the logical reasoning of the subject.
During the polygraph exam state of the art equipment is used to identify lies by monitoring and recording various measurements that include heart rate, blood pressure, motion detection, electrodermal activity and respiration with the use of a scientific diagnostic instrument. These recordings are then analyzed and cross examined to ensure that the subject is being truthful. Our polygraph exams here at Patriot Investigations are conducted by our examiner with former National Security Agency (NSA) and military experience. Upon completion a report including the charts, raw scores and examiners input on the test is provided.
